Executive Recruiting Consultant Posting Number: S14815P Department: UHR‑HR Search Group Location: Athens, GA Posting Date: 03/10/2026 Closing Date: 05/01/2026 (Open until filled) Position Summary The Executive Recruiting Consultant is an executive recruiter role focused on attracting high‑level talent for the University of Georgia. The position involves a majority of time spent communicating with prospective executive‑level candidates, placing outbound calls, and collaborating with senior leadership and recruitment teams to fill key positions. Responsibilities Research and identify qualified candidates through peer networks, industry associations, and subject‑matter experts. Conduct continuous outreach via email, phone calls, and strategic communications. Build and maintain relationships of trust and support with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Ensure receipt of application materials and supplementary documents. Provide executive consultation to candidates in preparation for interview processes. Meet and interact with senior faculty and administration to align strategy, provide recruitment information, and facilitate search committees and interview meetings. Escort candidates on campus and support successful search processes. Maintain active communication and manage the overall timeline of searches. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications One or more years of recruiting experience in a higher education setting. Skills and Competencies Effective communication at all levels of a large organization, both written and oral. High daily outbound call volume and strong telephone skills. Ability to deliver work on time and work independently. Professional customer service in an academic environment with positive attitude and mature behavior. Proficiency in MS Word and familiarity with MS Excel, email, and report creation. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong organizational abilities. Discretion with confidential and sensitive information. Accountability and continuous improvement mindset. Adaptability to challenging situations and autonomous teamwork. Benefits and Working Conditions Full‑time position (8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday). Eligible for Employee Benefits per university policy.
