Evenings Commercial Janitorial Supervisor

Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Training & development Job Position Description This newly created position is for 30-35 hours per week from 3pm to 9pm as the on-site supervisor. The candidate will work with a team of cleaners on regular janitorial duties, train and motivate team members, organize shifts, and inspect work to ServiceMaster standards. This role ensures team members stay on task and complete their assignments. It is suitable for someone who is flexible and wants to begin a supervisory entry‑level, move‑up position in our company. Requirements Train cleaners on ServiceMaster's standards, products, processes, and procedures for each account. Oversee team performance and ensure all assignments are completed on schedule. Perform inspections and provide constructive performance feedback. Assign shifts and adjust for call‑ins, sick, or no‑shows. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely, professional manner. Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude, including wearing uniform, being dependable, and arriving on time. Use proper PPE and safety equipment as required. Open and lock facilities, enable and disable the security system as required. Minimum 1–2 years of cleaning experience preferred. On‑the‑job training is provided for those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Must be flexible and able to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasked environment. Respectful and understanding of co‑workers and customers. Must communicate in English; bilingual is a plus. Alternate weekend work with other managers. Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe record; a company vehicle will be used. A background check will be completed. Physical Demands and Qualifications Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, and forward; must lift and/or carry up to 45 lbs. Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses. Contribute to a positive work environment with a pleasant attitude.
