Job Summary Responsible for performing general maintenance and cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members. Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance to ensure ready access for club members. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards: greet, anticipate, appreciate (GAA); fast, friendly, full, fresh, clean club standards; work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily; ensure proper signage and organization; understand business metrics; prioritize tasks efficiently. Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance. Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members. Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the club, including sales floor, offices, restrooms, outdoor grounds, and parking lot. Gather and return carts and flatbeds from parking lot to club entrance. Remove trash or debris from parking lot, cart corrals, and exterior of club. Ensure carts are well-stocked at club entrance. Verify all carts are in working order and clean; remove carts that are not suitable for use. Return new and unused merchandise to the sales floor. Perform maintenance and cleaning duties: wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extraction, glass washing, emptying trash receptacles, pulling pallets. Maintain outdoor grounds: cart corrals, sidewalks, outdoor trash receptacles. Prioritize maintenance and cleaning responsibilities across the club efficiently. Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler machines safely and efficiently following established safety standards. Restock maintenance/cleaning supplies; keep supply areas clean, neat, and organized. Perform minor routine building repairs; notify management when major repairs required. Maintain all club policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed. Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance, an essential function of this job. Qualifications Must successfully complete required training and certification processes. Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required. Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred. May be less than 18 years of age to perform parking lot cart functions. Must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas. Environmental Job Conditions Most of the time is spent moving around on hard surfaces. Requires frequent bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping, and ladder use. Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds; may need assistance for heavier items. Uses a pallet jack to pull and push pallets. Exposed to company-approved cleaning agents, paint, chemicals, indoor/outdoor temperatures, and occasional extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers. Works both indoors and outdoors with regular exposure to weather conditions. Pay Estimated pay range: $17.75 – $21.30 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
