MACHINIST, CNC
COMPANY PROFILE:
Fluidyne Corp is a well respected prime contractor that manufactures custom valves for the Navy. The majority of our business supports the Navy’s critical Nuclear Propulsion and Level I/Subsafe programs. Consequently, the quality of our product is vital to our success. Our facility is clean, well lit, and fully air conditioned.
WORK HOURS:
The position requires a 40 hour minimum work week, with 8 hours overtime always available. Our lunch period is 30 minutes. We do not work on weekends nor do we have a second shift.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with talent and experience. This package includes company paid health insurance (employees are required to pay a portion of the cost for dependents) and a 401(k) Plan that includes a no limit 35% employer match.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
CNC machinist applicants must have at least 3 years experience with the programming, set-up and machining of precision machined parts including castings and forgings. Machinists that are proficient with both CNC and manual equipment are preferred. Experience can be either lathe, mill or both.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to produce parts per drawing requirements with minimal supervision.

This is an air conditioned shop with LED lighting and well maintained equipment. 8 hrs/week overtime always available. This is not a high production shop. Fluidyne specializes in precision parts for the navy nuclear propulsion program.
