Site Superintendent

Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Site Superintendent, where you will lead and oversee all aspects of construction projects on-site. Your energetic leadership will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction management and site supervision will be pivotal in delivering outstanding results and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. You will coordinate with all subcontractors, site personnel, deliveries and daily construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the construction site, supervising subcontractors, tradespeople, and labor crews to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Red Team construction management software, tracking progress and adjusting plans proactively.
• Daily progress reports are due in Red Team.
• Oversee safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to foster a safety-first culture.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify work aligns with design specifications.
• Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, reviewing contracts, and coordinating with estimators for accurate forecasting.
• Ensure quality control by inspecting work throughout the project lifecycle, addressing issues promptly to meet quality standards.
• Maintain comprehensive records of daily reports in Red Team, incident reports, change orders, R.F.I.'s and other documentation required for project tracking.

Skills

• Extensive experience in commercial construction site supervision with a strong understanding of commercial projects.   School and Restaurant experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of civil site work that happens around commercial projects
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Pro Core, Bluebeam, or Red Team
• Solid knowledge of contracts management and construction scheduling and estimating.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong management skills with proven supervising experience overseeing diverse teams on large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written for coordinating between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of pipeline construction practices for relevant projects.
• Experience with quality control procedures ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
