Surgery Nurse

Surgery Center RN – OR Circulator (.75 FTE) Full‑time position (0.75 FTE) for the Surgery Center at Billings Clinic. Shift: Day. Hours: 0.75 FTE = 60 hours every two weeks (Non‑Exempt). Starting wage: $37.11 – $46.39 DOE. Responsibilities: Direct all nursing activities related to surgical procedures. Assess patient needs and provide support before, during, and after surgery; maintain accurate records and communicate with the healthcare team. Assist in patient education across all phases and ensure informed consent. Prepare records, reconcile medication history, review diagnostic tests, identify contraindications. Maintain equipment and supplies; clean and disinfect equipment, troubleshoot, manage inventory. Observe and enforce sterile technique; assist scrub tech and manage operative site preparation. Assist with patient transfer to and from operating room and recovery; maintain ACLS, administer IVs, and provide therapeutic procedures. Provide oversight to surgical center technical and ancillary personnel; assist orientation and training. Maintain competency in safety standards; identify and resolve safety issues. Participate in Magnetism initiatives and other assigned duties. Minimum Qualifications: Associate (or Diploma) RN with Current Montana Registered Nurse license. Preferred certifications or equivalent education and experience. Good standing in licensing and certifications.
