Compensation: $170,000–$200,000 base + benefits

Position Overview

A growing and well-established construction contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned construction professional with a strong background in electrical infrastructure, industrial construction, and public works .

The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex electrical construction projects while working directly with public owners, agencies, and other stakeholders. Candidates should be comfortable navigating public-sector specifications, submittals, RFIs, schedules, change orders, and contract requirements.

This organization has a strong project backlog and is continuing to grow its operations, creating an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of multiple projects and play an important role in the company's continued expansion.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, subcontractors, and project documentation.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal operations teams.
• Work directly with public owners and agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and manage project specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other contract requirements.
• Monitor project costs, forecasting, billing, and overall financial performance.
• Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
• Support project teams in maintaining quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Engineers and other project team members.

Ideal Background

• 10+ years of experience in construction, with significant Project Management experience.
• Strong electrical construction background.
• Experience with industrial construction and/or infrastructure projects .
• Experience with public works or public-sector construction is highly important .
• Experience working with public agencies, municipalities, utilities, or other public owners.
• Experience with projects involving water/wastewater treatment facilities, substations, utilities, power infrastructure, or similar industrial infrastructure is highly relevant.
• Strong understanding of public-sector project specifications, submittals, RFIs, change management, and contract administration.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated career stability and a history of building long-term relationships within the construction industry.
