What You'll Do
- Lead the Line: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food execution is fast, fresh, and consistently up to standard.
- Manage & Mentor: Train, coach, and motivate a large BOH team, fostering a positive, high-performance kitchen culture.
- Control Inventory: Assist the Head Chef with ordering, inventory management, and strict food cost controls.
- Enforce Standards: Maintain pristine safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards (HACCP/ServSafe) at all times.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume, full-service environment.
- Pace: Proven ability to handle massive volume without sacrificing plate presentation or quality.
- Leadership: Strong communication skills and a hands-on leadership style-you lead by example, not from an office.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
