Get to Know Your Team State‑of‑the‑art, 48,000‑square‑foot facility with two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs, and three private infusion rooms for families. Responsibilities A mammography technologist will provide patient services using various imaging modalities, including Stereotactic, Contrast Mammography, and DEXA. Mammographers are expected to perform screening and diagnostic procedures in a fast‑paced environment. Exercise critical thinking skills, troubleshoot, and manage stress. Work well with others and have effective communication skills. Follow the direction of the Breast Center Radiologist and established procedures/protocols. Spend shifts with extensive time on their feet, including standing, squatting, and bending. Adhere to all radiation safety precautions when performing exams. Be available to complete exams at the main facility (HBC), detached facilities, and outreach settings. Be responsible for image quality, positioning skills, and basic knowledge of quality control tests. Qualifications Job Requirements High School (or GED equivalent) diploma. ARRT Certification in Radiological Technology. Texas Department of Health Licensure. BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements 1 year of experience in screening and diagnostic procedures. Experience performing QC tests. Basic knowledge of stereotactic biopsies. Associate's Degree or certificate from a CAHEA‑approved Radiological Technology Program. Mammography registry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
