Vehicle Operations Specialist (Full Time) Position: Trucker

LOCATION

Work environment Expected pay 24.00 - 30.00 USD Per Hour

SCHEDULE

Available Shifts AM: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday - Friday PM: 2:00pm – 10:30pm, Monday - Friday Note: During the first week, workers will follow a 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday schedule, and will then transition to one of shift options above. Flexible to work both schedules. Past job commitments (Short stays at previous jobs will lead to DQ) Responsibilities Monitor vehicle software systems while upholding safe operational protocols and full legal compliance. Execute specific test cases (e.g., navigating construction zones, roundabouts, heavy pedestrian traffic, etc.) and document system performance accordingly. Provide concise, high-quality verbal and written feedback on non-ideal vehicle behaviors and edge-case scenarios. Perform pre-and-post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring sensors (LiDAR, Cameras, Radar) are clean and report major operational concerns accordingly. Work directly with Software and Hardware Engineers to troubleshoot issues identified during your shift(s). Daily tasks Your day-to-day involves more than just sitting behind the wheel. You are an agile sensor tester and a safety expert. Systems Supervision: Monitor vehicle software systems while upholding safe operational protocols and full legal compliance. Structured Testing: Execute specific test cases (e.g. navigating construction zones, roundabouts, heavy pedestrian traffic, etc.) and document system performance accordingly. Data Logging & Reporting: Provide concise, high-quality verbal and written feedback on non-ideal vehicle behaviors and edge-case scenarios. Fleet Health: Perform pre-and-post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring sensors (LiDAR, Cameras, Radar) are clean and report major, operational concerns accordingly. Collaboration: Work directly with Software and Hardware Engineers to troubleshoot issues identified during your shift(s). Required skills Requirement Description Driving Record: A pristine driving history (no major infractions in the last 5+ years). Cannot have more than 1 violation point count. Tech Literacy: Ability to navigate complex software interfaces and troubleshoot basic hardware/connectivity issues. Focus: High "situational awareness" the ability to remain hyper-focused for long durations in a repetitive environment. Communication: Strong written English skills for technical reporting and clear verbal skills for real-time communications.
