# Manufacturing EngineerApply**Job#: 3056445****Job Description:****Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Manufacturing Engineer for our client based out of Kings Mountain, NC.**This assignment is anticipated to be a 6‐month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.This will also have a first‐shift Monday–Friday schedule.**Responsibilities:*** Assess and recommend manufacturing processes, techniques, equipment, gauging, IT systems, and tooling to achieve zero defects.* Utilize workforce knowledge and current practices to introduce and implement new manufacturing processes, products, and projects.* Evaluate new technologies and systems for integration into existing processes and products.* Develop cost-effective engineering solutions adaptable to product and volume changes.* Perform benchmarking and apply best practices locally and globally within the engineering organization.* Create project plans, participate in pre-studies, theoretical volume capacity scenarios, monitor activities, and secure stakeholder agreement.* Understand the needs of both internal and external customers.* Clearly present ideas, problems, and solutions in written and verbal communication.* Collaborate with a team mindset to creatively solve problems and deescalate potential conflicts.* Proactively identify potential problems and take actions to minimize risks.* Maintain a continuous improvement mindset focused on waste elimination, employee engagement, and promoting a safe and clean working environment.**Experience:*** BS Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.* 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar field.* Demonstrated problem-solving, risk identification, and mitigation skills, both individually and in teamwork settings.* Strong time management, prioritization, and communication skills.**Why Work for Apex Systems:*** We offer weekly pay, direct deposit, competitive pay rates* Health/Medical benefits, Life Insurance, 401k, Employee Stock Purchase Program* Discounts to most major certification programs, access to multiple technical training platforms and programs**About Apex Systems:**At Apex Systems, we value integrity, respect, and excellence, and we are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and consultants alike.
