We are currently hiring for a SCIT Logistics Dispatcher position in Fontana for a 24/7 Food Distribution. This role works directly with vendors and transportation partners to coordinate shipments, track deliveries, provide updates, and help resolve transportation issues. The Dispatcher serves as an important connection between the client and vendors.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign vendors/carriers based on customer needs.
• Track and trace inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding shipment status and ETAs.
• Help resolve transportation delays and service issues.
• Review schedules and transportation needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
• Use reports and transportation systems to monitor activity.
• Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook .
• Transportation, logistics, traffic management, brokerage, or 3PL experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and/or holidays as business needs require.
