Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across multiple school sites in the lively Jacksonville area. As a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC required), you’ll become an essential part of helping pre K-12 learners achieve their communication goals for the upcoming academic year.

The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week (seven hours per day). This itinerant role spans several campuses and delivers services to a diverse caseload—ranging from mild to moderate needs, and age groups from preschool through high school. Exact school locations and caseloads are to be confirmed prior to start.

Candidates must hold a current Florida Department of Health SLP license. Credentialing is time-sensitive: candidates will complete fingerprinting. If you’ve previously fingerprinted in Florida schools and are eligible via the AHCA Clearinghouse, a verification form is required to confirm status or determine if re-printing is necessary. Once cleared, a JLA badge will be issued—which may take up to 10 business days.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current CCCs from ASHA
• Valid FL DOH SLP licensure
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Adaptable to supporting multiple sites and varying age ranges/caseloads
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech therapy and related services to Pre K-12 students with mild to moderate needs
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain timely documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress
• Travel between assigned campuses as needed
