Ladesco Inc is an industry leader in custom electronics manufacturing, providing a wide variety of wound magnetic devices and subassemblies to some of the industries most demanding customers. We currently have an opening in our fast-paced environment for an experienced Quality Control Technician. This is a full time, hourly position.

 

Quality Technician Requirements

This position requires that the successful candidate have a solid background in many areas pertaining to inspection, manufacturing, and process evaluation and control.

• Be a “self starter” with the capability to recognize quality, manufacturing, and process related discrepancies.
• Capable of understanding and working from blueprints, customer drawings, and in-house process sheets.
• Follow verbal and/or written instructions/directions from manufacturing, engineering, and quality departments.
• Proficiency in the use of mechanical measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers, dial/digital indicators, and rulers.
• Must be detail oriented, especially in regards to evaluations and inspections.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
• Have a strong Quality background in mechanical and/or electrical testing and evaluation, preferably both.
• Ability to initiate, maintain, and control manufacturing and quality test experiments to completion.
• Be a team player with the ability to coordinate efforts with other technicians and /or engineering support to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain various Quality log files, providing advance warning when expiration dates are imminent.
• Evaluate new products, processes and procedures. Provide written documentation relating to test processes and results.
• Review and/or analyze customer returns, provide root cause analysis, generate corrective action plans.

Other areas that are not requirements, but will provide increased responsibilities within the Quality department are:

• Familiarity with calibration processes, systems, and procedures.
• Programming experience for semi-automatic testing systems.
• Knowledge of documentation procedures and control.
• Experience with incoming inspection of raw materials.
