About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal Certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR Must-Have: - Recent hospital experience required - Skills in abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal imaging - Familiarity with neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and should not be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellations. Traveler experience is required. The unit will not accept first-time travelers. Local candidates are accepted. Normal skills required include diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, maximum intensity projection, multiplanar reconstruction, and spin echo images. Candidates must have proficiency in special imaging techniques using GE and Siemens equipment. Recent experience in a hospital setting is required. Patients may include neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Floating between departments may be required. Candidates must be available to report to work during emergency situations. All RTO must be pre-approved, and no RTO is allowed during the first week. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed.
