Candidates must have at least 1 year of nursing experience. First-time travelers are welcome, but profiles for those with only 1 year of experience will need to be reviewed. The position requires candidates to float within the entire organization as needed. Estimated patient ratios are 1:3. The position requires managing a variety of patient diagnoses, including cardiology, pulmonology, and renal conditions. Candidates will be expected to administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and provide comprehensive care. Skills related to IV access, telemetry monitoring, and patient management are essential. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration, including physical therapy and social services. Nurses will handle special procedures such as heparin and insulin drips when necessary. Those interested should be prepared for a fast-paced environment that deals with diverse patient needs.
