As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as assigned, directing visitors, and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
