Pay Rate: $23.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, staff, and vendors in accordance with facility access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
