What You’ll Do

• Provide OB/GYN patient care for a diverse adult, geriatric, and adolescent population
• Manage normal and complicated deliveries, averaging 15 deliveries per month
• Conduct general OB/GYN procedures in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with RN support staff and use Epic EMR to document patient encounters
• Respond to urgent patient needs during 24-hour call shifts
• Assist with hospital admissions and postpartum care
• Support the hospital’s operations with minimal urology and general surgery back-up

What You Need

Required:

• Active Colorado medical license or IMLC
• Epic EMR experience (minimum prior usage; last use required)
• Certification in OB/GYN (state licensing)
• Prior experience in OB/GYN practice (specific years not specified)

Preferred:

• Experience in hospital call settings and deliveries
• Ability to complete EMR virtual training prior to first shift
• Availability for flexible scheduling and ongoing shifts

About the Assignment

This assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Fort Morgan involves providing urgent OB/GYN coverage for hospital-based deliveries and patient care. The facility handles an estimated 15 deliveries per month and supports a patient population including adults, geriatrics, and adolescents. The role ensures continuity of care with a supportive team, including RN staff, and predominantly involves care in a no-trauma environment. Shifts will require 24-hour call coverage, with callback hours averaging around 6.88 hours on weekdays and 5 hours on weekends.
