About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:00 - 06:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required certification to work as an RRT in the state of West Virginia Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Ability to work independently Comfortable being the only respiratory therapist on shift Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Experience in emergency and critical care settings Description: Provides care to approximately 13,000 patients each year. Treats more than 50,000 patients in the emergency room. The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission. Offers a wide range of surgical services including da Vinci Robotic Surgery, spine, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, interventional pain management, interventional cardiology, gynecological, general, oral, urological, and eye trauma/emergency services. Serves all ages of patients. The role requires flexibility for weekends and call as needed. Preferred skills include experience with common diagnoses and treatments in a critical access hospital setting. A professional demeanor is expected. Dress code is any color of scrubs with no casual wear permitted.
