Job Title: Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Engineer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Terraform IaC Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions supporting critical Operational Technology (OT) environments. This role will focus on modernizing infrastructure deployment and operations through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
The engineer will develop reusable automation frameworks using Terraform, Ansible, HashiCorp Packer, Vault, Git, and Azure DevOps across Nutanix, VMware, Linux, and Windows environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure deployments.
- Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and configuration automation frameworks.
- Develop standardized Oracle Linux and Windows golden images using HashiCorp Packer .
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps .
- Implement HashiCorp Vault for secrets management, credentials, and certificate handling.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning across Nutanix AHV and VMware environments.
- Support Linux platforms including Oracle Linux and Red Hat Linux .
- Develop automation using Python and Shell scripting .
- Implement automated infrastructure validation, recovery, and Disaster Recovery (DR) workflows.
- Apply SRE principles to improve platform reliability, recoverability, and operational efficiency.
- Implement monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Alertmanager .
- Establish version-controlled infrastructure and standardized server configurations.
- Identify and eliminate configuration drift and repetitive manual infrastructure activities.
- Support cybersecurity resilience, business continuity, recovery testing, and auditability.
- Develop operational documentation, technical procedures, runbooks , and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, operations, database, and application teams.
- Participate in architecture design, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis , and reliability improvements.
- Implement secure-by-design infrastructure automation and deployment practices.
