Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Inpatient Hospital
Responsibilities: Lead and manage hospital medicine program, oversee inpatient care delivery, support quality and performance initiatives, collaborate with clinical/administrative teams, and support recruitment and training efforts
Required Procedures: No required procedures specified
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Established hospital medicine team and interdisciplinary administrative support
Days Per Month: Full-time schedule
On-Call/Weekends: No call or weekend responsibilities
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- New York Medical License or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 2 years leadership experience in acute care setting
- Clean malpractice and license history
- NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
- Experience required; no new graduates accepted
- No visa candidates accepted
- Leadership experience in hospital medicine strongly preferred
