Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214 Floor: Building: Main Entrance General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 9 Preop beds, 5 Phase 2 recovery beds Number of Staff 8 full time RN s (2 of those are open positions), 2 part time RN s, 4 PRN RN s and 1 unit HUC Type of staff: Day Shift Same as above Night Shift - 0 Patient Ratios 1:3 Type of equipment Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machine, Doppler, patient scale, bladder scanner EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care Pre-Op RN Hospital experience BLS & ACLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Some preop experience, or ability to help preop staff Prior Meditech experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Phase 2 recoveries of Urology, GYN and other SDS patients Pre-op Surgery, Endo, Cath lab, EP, CT patients, outpatient infusions, outpatient EKG s, blocks, blood transfusions Best personality Fit: Patient experience is a priority Communication with staff and providers Unit Guidelines/Policies:Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. On-call is required and 30 minute response time when on-call.
