About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP, Finance & Accounting to take the lead in their finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating year-end audits, serving as the main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and fund administrators, and designing and testing internal controls to meet regulatory and audit standards. This role also involves building annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and managing investor distribution mechanics. The SVP will be expected to have a deep knowledge of investment company accounting and reporting standards, and experience with BDC or private credit accounting and investor reporting is strongly preferred. Applicants for the SVP, Finance & Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, with a CPA certification and at least 10 years of relevant financial services accounting and reporting experience, including a background in public accounting. The role requires prior supervisory or leadership experience, strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to identify process improvements and partner efficiencies. The SVP will also be involved in M&A due diligence, integration, and compiling quarterly and annual disclosure reporting packages. The position is pivotal in supporting the company's growth and requires a strategic and hands-on approach to financial management.
