Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We are partnering with a growing Chicago area business to hire an FP&A Manager who can turn financial data into decisions. This person will work closely with executive leadership and operational teams to shape forecasts, evaluate business performance, and identify the company’s most important opportunities and risks. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, commercial judgment, and the ability to influence leaders across the organization. What You Will Own Lead the annual budget, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning processes Build financial models supporting growth initiatives, investments, pricing, and strategic decisions Analyze revenue, margins, operating expenses, headcount, and key performance indicators Deliver clear monthly reporting and executive level performance commentary Partner with department leaders to improve financial accountability and decision making Identify trends, risks, and opportunities before they appear in reported results Develop scenario models and recommendations for senior leadership Improve forecasting accuracy, reporting tools, and planning processes Support board, lender, or investor reporting as needed Develop and mentor members of the finance team, where applicable What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Approximately six or more years of progressive finance experience Meaningful ownership of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis Experience partnering with senior operational and executive leaders Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities MBA, CPA, or other advanced qualification is preferred but not required Ability to communicate a concise financial story and recommend a course of action Why Consider This Opportunity Direct exposure to senior leadership and major business decisions Opportunity to build and improve an evolving FP&A function Broad visibility across the organization Strong advancement potential as the business grows #J-18808-Ljbffr
