Registered Nurse – Interventional CardiologySchedule: Monday–Friday 07:00–15:30 with additional call shifts (weekends and overnight weekday call). Weekend requirement: 3 shifts in a 2-week period; every 6th weekend Friday 16:00–Monday 07:00. Weeknight call noted as 16:00–07:00.Assignment Details: Orientation: 40 hours.Requirements:Valid state license (Compact license must be in hand at submission).At least 5 years of experience, with a minimum of 1 year in trauma level II settings required.Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.Experience in extensive interventional cardiology and interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to PCI, stents, catheterizations, and pacemaker/ICD procedures.Vascular access and central line experience required.Experience in procedural sedation monitoring and critical care support.Electronic charting experience with Epic required.Responsibilities:Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the interventional cardiology unit.Assist in various cardiovascular interventional procedures.Monitor patient conditions and provide critical care support as needed.Administer medications and blood products per protocols.Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.Maintain accurate patient documentation using electronic charting systems.Compliance / Notes:Background check policy: Facility does not accept Nursys or background hits. References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years; can include Charge RNs/Leads.
