AD Business Development (Global Litigation & Disputes)

We are delighted to be managing one of the most exciting multi-geography searches in the legal market, working with a topAm Law–listed firmin search of a Business Development leader within their global Litigation practice group. This is a pivotal leadership role which will oversee the firm's business development strategy in a team that has been a significant commercial driver for the firm, and has significant influence within the firm. Managing a team of 17 people globally, this person will be central in driving a more commercially focused, high-performing team, in a time where commerciality is at the centre of their transformation project. This is a fantastic role for an established Senior Manager or Assistant Director with strong people management responsibility that is passionate about Dispute Resolution and adjacent practice groups, and can impact genuine commercial growth. This position can be based in multiple US office locations, 4 days a week in-office required. Reporting into the Global Senior Director of Business Development - Practices & Sectors, responsibilities will include: Provide strategic leadership for the Litigation group, ensuring the development and embedding of commercial strategies to ensure the firm's growth objectives. Creating a commercially led function with a focus on identifying new market opportunities across the UK and US markets, leveraging data into actionable strategies that drive growth and strengthen client relationships. Develop compelling thought leadership campaigns in collaboration with the central campaign marketing team, with a focus on raising the profile of the Litigation practice group, Leading on practice specific marketing content, campaign and events to ensure enhanced engagement with priority clients and growing the firm's global reputation. Line management of a high-performing team of 17 across the UK and US, including Senior Managers and a pool of specialist junior resources, ensuring there are clear priorities established, accountability and continuous improvement.
