Title : Associate Attorney – Real Estate Litigation Location: Irvine, California (Hybrid) About the firm: Our client is a growing California law firm focused on real estate litigation, foreclosure defense, land use disputes, contract disputes, and complex property-related matters. The firm represents homeowners, businesses, and property owners throughout California and is known for its client-centered approach, strong litigation strategy, and commitment to protecting property rights. As the firm continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Oakland office in a hybrid work environment . Position Summary: The Associate Attorney will manage a litigation caseload involving real estate, foreclosure, contract, land use, and property disputes. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong legal writing skills, courtroom experience, and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution. Key Responsibilities: Handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. Draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and legal memoranda. Conduct legal research and analyze complex real estate and foreclosure-related issues. Advise clients regarding litigation strategy, risk assessment, and case developments. Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve favorable client outcomes. Participate in business development and client relationship management initiatives. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing. 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred. Experience in real estate litigation, foreclosure law, land use matters, or property disputes is highly preferred. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between [$250,000 – $300,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
