Material Handler I (1st Shift)

Pay: $16.25/hour Schedule: Monday through Friday - 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM Overtime Schedule: Monday through Saturday - 4:30 AM to 2:00 PM Job Summary Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility. Essential Job Functions * Ability to use a hand scanner Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations Transfers finished products to designated areas Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger * This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Education & Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus. Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel. Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions. Operational Equipment Hand-held RF Scanner, manual/motorized pallet jack Work Environment and Physical Demands Work Environment Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required. Physical Demands Material Handler: Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
