• Assist with sample collection and prepare specimens for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or students, and actively support the maintenance of lab quality standards.
• Foster a safe and clean work environment, while upholding regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hiring.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
