Job Title: Machine/Mixer Operator | $20-21 HR | 2nd & 3rd Shift Available

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Mixer Operators to join our team on the 3rd shift. With two openings available, the shift runs from Sunday to Thursday, 11 pm to 7:30 am, and candidates must be open to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret product formulas and batch sheets accurately.
• Follow written procedures precisely and document all work meticulously.
• Operate mixing kettles and multiple pieces of production equipment.
• Use PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) touchscreens for kettle operations.
• Verify and monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) for food safety.
• Perform sanitation duties, including operating Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems.
• Set up product transfer pathways and operate diaphragm pumps.
• Weigh ingredients and finished products using production scales.
• Continuously swab and clean cooking equipment as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience with mixing and machine operation in a production environment.
• Ability to handle batch orders, blending, and general production tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards.
• Basic math skills for measuring and batching ingredients.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate industrial food production equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one (required for some shifts).

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avon, OH.

The pay range for this position is $21.38 - $21.38/hr.
