About the Company National sales and sales-development organization focused on commercial facility services and building maintenance. Acts as a “general contractor” for building maintenance: janitorial, landscaping, floor care, window cleaning, parking lot sweeping, pressure washing, light remodeling, and more. Value-driven model: helping clients preserve the long-term value of commercial real estate assets—not just “keep things clean.” About the Role This is a field-based, outside sales role – you’ll spend the majority of your week out in the market, not behind a desk. Prospect face‑to‑face by walking buildings, door knocking, and visiting multi‑site brands (retail, daycare, national chains, etc.). Responsibilities Build relationships with regional managers, branch managers, and key facility contacts, as well as front‑desk staff and local stakeholders. Diagnose how locations currently maintain their buildings, which vendors they use, and where responsibility sits between tenant and owner. Identify target accounts that are dissatisfied with current vendors and position a value‑based solution that protects asset value. Close recurring contracts and serve as first point of contact, supported by internal account management. Manage and grow your own book of business, with residual monthly commission on accounts for years after the initial sale. Qualifications Typically suited for early‑career sales professionals with 1–5 years of post‑college experience, but driven candidates at other career stages will be considered. Strong work ethic and comfort with high‑activity, field‑based sales. Thrives in independent, field‑based work (30+ hours a week in the field) vs. office environment. Competitive sports or team‑based extracurricular experience is a plus; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who demonstrate resilience and coach‑ability. Door‑to‑door or outside sales experience is highly valued. Professional presence appropriate for meeting with business owners and managers. Required Skills Hungry, resilient, and competitive people – the kind who thrive in a field‑based environment and don’t need an office to stay motivated. Preferred Skills Competitive sports or team‑based extracurricular experience is a plus. Pay range and compensation package Base salary typically in the $50,000–$75,000 range for candidates, depending on background and market. Uncapped, residual commission: a percentage of revenue or margin paid monthly on every account you close, over multiple years. Quarterly performance bonus up to $5,000 per quarter. Realistic first-year earnings: At $50,000 base: OTE $70,000–$75,000 with average performance. At $70,000 base: OTE $90,000–$95,000+ with strong performance. Many strong performers have the potential to reach $250,000+ within roughly five years.
