Software Engineer Lead

Join our dynamic team as a Java Development Lead and play a pivotal role in transforming the spring boot framework across our organization. You'll work with cutting‑edge integration technologies, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and help architect scalable solutions that drive real business impact. As a Java Dev lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and efficiency of production systems and Market Risk applications, working closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, deploy fixes, develop new Java/springboot frameworks, design Data Models, and implement enhancements to the production environment. Responsibilities Develop code and integration services using Java and microservices. Create reusable components and services to streamline integration processes. Design and develop integration solutions using Java Spring Boot framework. Design and develop integration solutions with Spring Boot Batch Processing. Integrate various systems including databases, web services (SOAP/REST), MQ, and file-based systems. Write and debug complex Linux scripts. Understand and write complex SQL and Oracle queries; use relational and NoSQL databases. Perform unit and integration testing to ensure quality and performance. Debug and resolve issues in message flows and integration logic. Package and deploy integration solutions across environments. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions. Use CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams. Document technical designs, flow diagrams, and operational procedures. Develop dashboards using Angular for reporting and role‑based access. Apply market risk concepts such as PFE, CVA, VaR where needed. Qualifications 12+ years of experience in Java, with 3–4 years as a lead. Experience with Java Spring Boot, Spring Boot Batch Processing. Technology agnostic, with prior experience in microservices, Python, Agentic AI, relational DBs, NoSQL. Experience designing and developing integration solutions. Proficiency in writing and debugging complex Linux scripts. Strong back‑end and some front‑end skills (Angular). Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Business knowledge of Market Risk concepts (PFE, CVA, VaR). Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
