Job Summary Administrative Coordinator, UNLV Student Wellness, Disability Resource Center (DRC) – reports to the Associate Director of the DRC and supports equitable access for students with disabilities through coordination of administrative, operational, and service-delivery functions. The role integrates accommodation coordination, student‑worker logistics, office operations, budgeting, and assistive‑technology support to deliver high‑quality DRC services. Responsibilities Coordinate complex administrative and operational activities that support the Disability Resource Center. Manage accommodation coordination, student‑worker logistics, office operations, budgeting, and assistive‑technology support. Collaborate with the Student Wellness Administrative Coordinator to hire student workers and temporary employees. Ensure compliance with Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) and UNLV policies, FERPA, ADA, and other relevant state and federal laws. Oversee furniture placement and classroom relocation to meet the needs of students with disabilities. Assist the Director and Associate Director in compiling, editing, and producing annual reports, evaluations, grant reports, research projects, and presentations. Serve as the initial point of contact for internal and external constituents regarding DRC operations, initiatives, and programs. Coordinate with students, parents, faculty, staff, university leaders, NSHE staff, and community partners to advance DRC services. Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with care and maintain professionalism as a visible representative of the DRC and UNLV. Apply knowledge of FERPA, ADA, and Section504 and perform basic de‑escalation and support for students who may be stressed or overwhelmed. Communicate effectively, solve complex, time‑sensitive problems, and organize, plan, prepare, coordinate, implement and follow through on multifaceted assignments promptly and accurately. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and respect for diversity. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or an associate’s degree plus two additional years of relevant experience). Minimum of one year of related work experience; in lieu of a degree, four additional years of relevant experience qualify. For candidates with a master’s degree, equivalent experience includes six additional years of relevant work or a bachelor’s degree plus two additional years. Ability to work occasional evening hours.
