Automation Technician - Weekend Shift

Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining the electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assemblies of sophisticated automation equipment. Support the design and implementation of automated manufacturing production lines. Integrate automated systems into manufacturing and assembly lines. Work with Automation Engineers on capital planning and acquisition projects, and support implementation and validation of equipment. Document mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic alterations and additions to equipment at various stages. Collaborate with the maintenance group, authoring PMI’s, to equip maintenance staff with vital skills to maintain factory equipment. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years engineering/technical experience in a manufacturing environment, or Technical College Diploma/AAS (2‑year) from an accredited institution preferred. Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, including redlining schematics for updates. Experience wiring electrical control panels or equipment remote actuators and inputs and outputs, plumbing equipment, pneumatic or hydraulic lines. Experience onboarding and validating new equipment capability prior to introduction to the production floor. Ability to troubleshoot, problem‑solve, and diagnose machine faults or minor issues, including PLC/HMI or programming equipment (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and industrial robotics troubleshooting or programming (ABB, Fanuc). Shift Schedule This role will consist of three 12‑hour shifts (Saturday, Sunday and Monday or Friday). Compensation: $20.40–$37.80per hour. Employees may also be eligible for annual incentives.
