Bowling Green Health & Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, VA is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in the role of RN Wound Supervisor.
As the RN Wound Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in our ability to continuously provide Care Beyond Compare through your exceptional leadership and supervision of the nursing team. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and empowering our nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. - Evaluate resident's needs through ongoing assessment and revises care plan based on changes in resident's condition.
- Provide clinical supervision to LPNs and CNAs.
- Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care plans
- Instruct individuals, families on topics such as health education, disease prevention, and develop health improvement programs.
- Interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess resident's condition; Modify resident treatment plans as indicated by residents' responses and conditions.
- Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in residents' conditions; Must be able to maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Active unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- This is a salaried/exempt position.
