Part-Time Bookkeeper

Part-Time BookkeeperLHH is seeking an experienced Part-time Bookkeeper to join a leading organization's accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with financial records, maintaining accurate accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $33-$35 an hour.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records and accounting filesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsPrepare and post journal entriesReconcile bank and general ledger accountsMonitor invoices, payments, and outstanding balancesAssist with month-end and year-end closing activitiesMaintain vendor and customer recordsResearch and resolve discrepancies or billing issuesPrepare financial reports and account summariesAssist with audits and other accounting-related projects as neededQualifications:2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experienceStrong understanding of basic accounting principlesExperience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliationsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
