Exciting Opportunity for Travel ICU RN in Aurora, CO!

Job Description:


- Shift: 19:00 - 07:00
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 38
- Type: Level II Trauma Center
- Patient Types: Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Post-Operative open-heart patients, VV and VA ECMO, Balloon pump, Impella, CRRT
- Staff Numbers: 125
- Day Shift Staff: 1 Charge, 16-18 staff
- Night Shift Staff: 1 Charge, 16-18 staff
- Patient Ratios: 2:1, 1:1 depending on acuity

- Equipment Utilization:
- Stryker beds
- Avea ventilators
- GE monitors
- Baxter IV pumps
- Maquet IABP
- Vigilance II monitors
- Impella
- ECMO Maquet Cardiohelp
- Medtronic Vital Flow
- NICOM
- EMR: Meditech

- Qualifications:
- Must Have:
- Minimum 1-year current ICU hospital experience
- BLS, ACLS, & NIH certifications
- Preferred:
- Prior Meditech experience
- CVICU/CTICU experience (Post-operative open-heart surgery)

- Typical Procedures:
- Bedside procedures: Bronchs, GI Scopes, Chest Tube Insertions, Arterial and Central line insertions
- Airway care and frequent drip titrations
