Program Supervisor

This position combines responsibilities across two programs for a total of 40 hours per week: Program Coordinator – 34 hours per week – $19.00/hour Business Mentor – 6 hours per week – $20.00/hour The individual hired for this position will serve as the facilitator and coordinator for our Same As You (S.A.Y.) and Vote! Project programs. The Same As You (S.A.Y.) Program provides presentations at schools, after‑school programs, and other community settings focused on bullying prevention and disability awareness. The Vote! Project educates individuals with disabilities about voting rights and civic participation. Both programs are presented by individuals with disabilities, and the coordinator will provide supervision, support, and logistical assistance to the presenters. In addition, this position includes serving as a Business Mentor for an individual with disabilities who operates a small art business. The ideal candidate will be computer proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, internet research, graphic design basics, scanning, and related technology. Candidates should also possess artistic ability or art-related experience. Prior business experience, particularly in small business operations, is preferred. Applicants must be able to sit and/or drive for up to four hours per day and up to two hours at a time. The position requires entering and navigating client homes and business environments comfortably and safely. A background check, reliable insured vehicle, and insurable driving record are required. Schedule presentations at schools, after‑school programs, day programs, and community organizations Transport employees to presentations using a personal vehicle Update and maintain presentation materials as needed Communicate effectively with the Executive Director, employees, and community partners Maintain accurate records of presentations and program activities Business Mentor Support an individual with disabilities in operating a small art business Maintain accurate business and support records Schedule and assist the business owner at sales events Transport the business owner and supplies to events Utilize or learn payment processing systems such as Square Preferred Qualifications Two years of experience in art, creative small business management, or small business ownership #J-18808-Ljbffr
