The Strategy & Business Development (S&BD) Finance & Business Operations team provides financial support to the S&BD organization, handling all aspects of planning, monitoring, forecasting, reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analyses that drive variance reviews, trend spotting, risk/opportunity assessments, and the creation of mitigation strategies
- Partner with S&BD groups and MSACs to manage budgeting for Overhead, Market Assist, IRAD, and B&P expenditures
- Collaborate with Resource Management to execute budget-related tasks, including baseline development, budget transfers, and charge-number requests
- Consolidate data from multiple financial systems and build Tableau visualizations and dashboards
- Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports, delivering a clear view of project performance risks, opportunities, and any deviations from baseline budgets
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, supporting informed financial and operational decision-making
Desired skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with COBRA
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Proficiency with pivot tables and significant Excel experience
- Experience with Tableau
