Position Description: Responsible for leading the planning, design, execution, and oversight of construction and building systems projects that maximize the value, reliability, and lifecycle performance of facility assets. This role manages the development and implementation of project designs using internal engineering resources, external consulting firms, or design-build delivery methods. The Project Engineer directs all phases of project execution, coordinating internal construction trades, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Accountable for developing, monitoring, and controlling project budgets, schedules, and resources while maintaining a strong focus on cost efficiency and operational excellence. Ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while meeting customer expectations, organizational objectives, and all applicable local, state, and federal codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Serves as a key liaison between engineering, operations, contractors, and business partners to identify solutions, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, engineering, and construction of capital improvement and facility infrastructure projects. Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and contractor performance. Coordinate internal and external design resources to develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions. Oversee construction activities to ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications. Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving technical and operational challenges. Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards. Foster strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, contractors, and cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
