Business Data Analyst - II

Job Title

Targeted Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years

Responsibilities:

• Mining various data sources and or providing visualization and analysis of complex data structures.
• Manage creation and distribution process to ensure all contractual obligations are met with regard to data content and timeliness constraints.
• Develop, drive, and track the definition of fundamental metrics
• Provide support on development of dashboards tracking key metrics of program or provider or client performance.
• Establish relationships with all departments and levels of the organization in order to understand the information needs of each.
• Assist with any ad hoc requests or special projects that require data analysis.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant experience
• Experience mining various data sources and or providing visualization and analysis of complex data structures.
• Expert-level SQL Experience required
• Experience supporting Business Analysts with reporting preferred
• Analyst must possess time management skills, demonstrate the ability to work independently, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must Have Skills (Most Important):

• Two or more years of data analytics experience a large enterprise-level relational database environment (Oracle) using Teradata
• Must have multiple years of experience in ETL for data extraction, data quality validation as well as business analysis and data analysis
• Must have extensive experience in SQL to transform data into useful, actionable information, Teradata and Tableau.

Desired Skills:

• An advantage if candidate worked with Adobe Analytics, Python or R Programming
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience such as pivot tables and charting.
• Working knowledge of Toad (automation products), Betq experience. Big Query, Altryx.

Education/Certifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant experience.
