Retail Operations Manager

SIMKHAI is searching for a hands-on, highly organized Manager of Retail Operations to partner with our Sr. Director of Retail Operations and serve as the key link between our corporate office and store teams. Key Responsibilities Track store sales, KPIs, and performance goals, and manage weekly recaps and flash reporting. Lead day-to-day clienteling and CRM execution, holding store teams accountable to client engagement standards. Maintain and roll out SOPs, the Retail Operations Manual, and retail tools to keep operations consistent across stores. Oversee the in-store experience, including events, maintenance, supplies, and brand standards. Support inventory accuracy and omnichannel fulfillment (BOPIS, ship-from-store, transfers), partnering with Buying & Planning. Track store expenses against budget and support budgeting and forecasting. Monitor staffing and scheduling, and support recruiting, onboarding, and training. Assist with real estate exploration, oversee timelines and budgets for New Store Openings, and drive operational readiness (including recruitment) for new store openings, pop-ups, and relocations. Qualifications Must have a minimum of 5–7+ years of retail experience, ideally in contemporary, luxury, or fashion, including 2+ years in a multi-store or single store environment Must have demonstrated strong knowledge of store operations, inventory, clienteling/CRM, retail KPIs, and budgets. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management and communication skills. Must be a proactive, hands-on collaborator comfortable working between corporate and store teams. Must be able to travel on a regular basis to SIMKHAI stores, events, and new openings, with the rest of time based at our Los Angeles corporate office. In accordance with applicable pay transparency requirements, the anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000-$115,00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
