CNA - Nursing Assistant

Schedule: Part Time Nights (3x7.5s/2x7.5s), Every Other Weekend, Holidays

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 Hours/Biweekly

Requirements:

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS (AHA)
• One (1) Year of previous Long-Term Care experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and toileting needs according to established care plans.
• Ensure residents' environments are safe and clean, addressing call lights and alarms promptly.
• Assist in meeting residents' nutritional needs including meal delivery, preparation, and feeding assistance while respecting individual preferences.
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs, including range of motion exercises and safe ambulation.
• Report any changes in resident physical or emotional status to supervising nursing staff in a timely manner.
