Kitchen Manager Benefits and Compensation:

$75,000–$80,000 base salary

Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of kitchen management experience
Background in upscale casual dining or steakhouse concepts
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop BOH teams
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards
Experience managing food costs, labor, and inventory controls
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Must Haves

Lead daily kitchen operations with a hands-on, shoulder-to-shoulder leadership style
Ensure consistent execution of menu items and uphold quality standards during peak service
Manage ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships to maintain cost targets
Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff while maintaining accountability and morale
Monitor prep, line readiness, and service flow to ensure smooth execution
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards

Kitchen Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Experience in high-volume, scratch kitchens
Strong tenure showing growth within reputable brands
Exposure to steakhouse or elevated grill concepts
Passion for team development and creating a positive kitchen culture
Ability to adapt quickly and remain calm under pressure
Experience with scheduling systems and kitchen management tools
