About the Role


We are seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse for a contract opportunity within the Cherokee Nation region. This role supports patient care in a medical-surgical setting and requires strong nursing assessment, medication administration, documentation, and care coordination skills.


Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care for medical-surgical patients
• Assess patient conditions and monitor changes throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards
• Document patient care, interventions, and updates accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams


Requirements
• Active Registered Nurse License Required
• Med Surg RN experience preferred
• BLS/BCLS Certification Required
• Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and patient care skills required
• Must be flexible and able to support contract assignment needs
