Senior Manager, Global Process Development, Fill-Finish Operations

Senior Manager position leading non-clinical fill-finish operations for biotherapeutic development at Johnson & Johnson in Malvern, PA. Responsibilities include overseeing vial, pre-filled syringe, and cartridge manufacturing; advancing manufacturing technologies; deploying digital tools; and mentoring operations teams.

Responsibilities

Lead non-clinical fill-finish operations team supplying vials, pre-filled syringes, and cartridges
Design and execute experiments to advance manufacturing technologies and standard procedures
Champion digital tools deployment for operational efficiency and lean technology transfer to GMP sites
Oversee raw material procurement, troubleshoot equipment, lead investigations and CAPA implementation
Mentor direct reports, manage KPIs across uptime, training, yield, and operational metrics

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or relevant technical field
Minimum 8 years relevant industry experience
Minimum 4 years demonstrated leadership managing cross-functional teams
Experience in biologics manufacturing, specifically sterile drug product
Manufacturing operations leadership with multi-product experience preferred
Strong cross-organizational influence and relationship-building capabilities
Scientific communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
