Must-Have: Recent Home Health experience; reliable transportation; current driver's license; agency-required liability insurance

Description: This position involves conducting home visits for therapy services. Periodic office meetings will also be required. The average number of patients seen per day is 5-6. Each type of visit and activity requires different documentation and has varying point values. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points. Traveling up to 75 miles from the home clinic is required. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The contractor is compensated for travel from one patient's home to another. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Candidates must confirm they understand that they will be responsible for driving to patients' homes daily and attending weekly meetings. Candidates must have a vehicle, driver's license, and auto insurance. Travel distances may exceed 20 minutes between patients. Candidates are expected to accept every patient assigned to their schedule regardless of the distance. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment. Delayed or incomplete documentation that affects billing and follow-up care may result in cancellation of assignments. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Clinicians must achieve weekly productivity points, which equate to 40 hours per week. If there are low patient census levels, the contractor may have the opportunity to be reassigned to another clinic to pick up additional patients.
