Florida, USA Full-time Deadline: September 5, 2026 Now hiring About the Role Proxflyer is growing, and we are looking for an Operations Manager to support our expansion in the United States. This is a highly varied role that combines technical operations, product support, site management, demonstrations, testing, customer engagement, logistics, and hands-on problem solving. Initially, the role will overlap with several responsibilities currently handled by our technical and product teams. You will help support demonstrations, training activities, testing, maintenance, logistics, and day-to-day operations at our Florida site. As Proxflyer’s U.S. presence continues to expand, the role is expected to grow into an operations leadership position with responsibility for aftermarket support and service, logistics, and potentially future production activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building things from the ground up, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and is equally comfortable working with customers, engineers, equipment, and operational processes. Responsibilities Support daily operations at Proxflyer’s Florida facility Conduct system demonstrations and customer evaluations Support testing, validation, and field activities Deliver customer training and technical support Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Sea Shadow systems Maintain equipment, tools, vehicles, and operational assets Manage inventory, spare parts, and logistics activities in the U.S. Coordinate shipments, imports, exports, and operational readiness activities Support customer visits, events, trade shows, and field demonstrations Assist with operational planning and process development as U.S. activities scale Contribute to the establishment of service, support, and production capabilities Qualifications Strong technical background in engineering, defense systems, maritime systems, unmanned systems, aerospace, or related fields Demonstrated hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining technical equipment Experience operating in field environments and customer-facing roles Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Comfortable balancing technical, operational, and administrative responsibilities Experience with unmanned systems is considered an advantage Maritime experience is highly desirable Experience with defense customers or military organizations is desirable Ability to travel extensively within the United States and internationally when required Fluent English, written and spoken Eligible for security clearance About Proxflyer Proxflyer is a Norwegian defense technology company headquartered in the greater Oslo area.
