No sponsorship or C2C for this role Must be a w2 employee of The Judge Group Senior Business Analyst & Project Lead Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid: Monday-Thursday In Office | Friday Remote) Job Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst & Project Lead to support strategic initiatives within our Consumer Home Energy organization. This role combines business analysis expertise with project leadership responsibilities, driving cross-functional projects that enhance customer experience, retention, operational efficiency, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate is a structured problem solver with strong analytical skills, experience leading projects from inception through implementation, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams. You will play a critical role in identifying business opportunities, translating business needs into actionable solutions, and ensuring successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Process Improvement Partner with stakeholders to identify business challenges, objectives, and success metrics. Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements. Perform root cause analysis, trend analysis, and operational assessments to uncover improvement opportunities. Create current-state and future-state process maps and recommend process enhancements. Develop data-driven insights and business recommendations. Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, process documentation, and implementation plans. Support testing activities, including UAT coordination, defect tracking, and implementation readiness. Project & Workstream Leadership Lead small to mid-sized cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items. Coordinate stakeholders and project teams to ensure timely delivery of objectives. Facilitate project meetings, workshops, decision-making sessions, and stakeholder reviews. Provide project status updates and executive-level communications. Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks and issues. Support change management and user adoption efforts. Stakeholder Engagement Build strong working relationships across business, operations, technology, and partner teams. Align stakeholders with competing priorities to achieve project goals. Track decisions, commitments, and key deliverables. Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership and cross-functional audiences. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered. 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Consulting, Process Improvement, or related fields. Proven experience leading cross-functional projects or workstreams. Strong background in business requirements gathering and solution development. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills. Experience managing stakeholder expectations and competing priorities. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies. Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Experience supporting customer experience, customer retention, operational excellence, or transformation initiatives. Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and visualization tools. Strong quantitative analysis and data interpretation skills. PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or related certifications. Experience within the utility, energy, retail, or customer service industries. Technical & Professional Skills Business analysis and requirements elicitation expertise. Process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies. Project planning, organization, and execution skills. Strong facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio). Experience with project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms. Ability to work independently and influence outcomes without direct authority.
